New consultancy / farm office taking shape.

A wee (cattle themed) break in Deeside. Walking up to Ruighe Ealasaid bothy and finding evidence of cattle kept way up there. Visiting Rory Cameron’s fine yearling heifers beside Beinn a’ Ghlo. Exploring Glen Lui where summering cattle could do a grand habitat enhancement job.

Still no news on Scottish 2023 Agri-Environment Scheme (AECS) applications. Applications submitted last May!

Really pleased with this linked swale (1) sediment trap (2) pond (3) system. Preventing soil/nutrient runoff going into Balgavies Loch SSSI in Angus. Stood up well to the all autumn rain.

A combination of Agri-Environment and Nature Restoration Funding got this done. 👍
