Why do people have to go through the DWP to get treatment we need, Mel? Why can’t we get it on the NHS? Isn’t that supposed to provide the treatment we need? How is shifting the deckchairs going to help, exactly? (Let me guess - lots of deckchairs will quietly disappear?)

Absolutely drained after a day of interviews on PIP reform. It’s so bloody infuriating to have to keep explaining: this is NOT an unemployed benefit; it is NOT easy to claim; and disabled people are NOT living the life of Riley on this benefit. Far from it.
