It of course was inspired by the awesome Emilija Todorovic and Ilan Weinreb🇮🇱🇨🇦 paper that first recognized DEK-AFF2 carcinomas as an entity: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32366754/

Can't wait to learn more about this tumor!

DEK-AFF2 fusions characterize a unique type of non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma.

Great paper by Lisa Rooper and J. B. further expanding on this entity.
