Yesterday, I met a Psych Trainee whose family visa got rejected. He has been waiting to meet his 3 year old child & spouse since COVID.

He was in depression, crying like a child and begging for help😓

He came to Ireland in 2016 1/5

He has been serving HSE Ireland day and night for past 9 years. He got married 2019 and had his first daughter born late 2020. He served Ireland in Covid Crisis & couldn't hold his first child for few years until restrictions were over. After a long wait, his spouse & 3 year old 2/5

Prev. visa was refused on ridiculous reasons. His family is in shock at the moment.

This is a severe form of ill treatment towards the backbone of Irish health system. I have been trying hard to highlight this grave issue to Department of Justice 🇮🇪 Helen McEntee TD for many months but no 3/5

one is paying heed!

There are hundreds of International healthcare workers who are going through the same agony, facing depression & leaving their jobs.

Is their any priority to look after our staffs wellbeing? NDTP HSE Ireland Stephen Donnelly
