Sadly, a ride like Saturday's wouldn't be possible without MPD support. It's why so many of us keep fighting for a connected protected network so that people in all 8 Wards can safely get from A to B no matter how they choose to travel.

Having ridden this several times already, it is hard to overstate how invaluable connections like these are, especially in places like Ward 5 that have so many dangerous highway-like roads. Here's hoping for many more so that people can have the freedom to choose how they travel.
