What a day for our guys! All 7 guys that competed at the Illinois Top Times meet today go home with at least 1 medal! So proud of all of these guys! They truly set the standard for our program. Looking forward to what’s in store during the outdoor season…congrats guys!!!

3 biggest things that came from today’s Stogie Relays: 3. 4x200 relay of Giron, Giuseffi, Costa and Rysavy run 1:30.40 (HT) which equals the state qualifying standard for 3A 2. 4x100 relay of Giron, Giuseffi, Costa and Sargent run 42.86 (FAT) which is .11 faster than qualifying

Senior day @ HHS B. Track! Thank you seniors for all you have done for the program. We are proud of you!

Glad we got the opportunity to celebrate these awesome dudes tonight. So appreciative of this senior class. They are tremendous young men who are great leaders and role models. We will be sad to see them go, but we still have them for a few more weeks! Thank you seniors!!!

Tonight’s Athlete of the Meet, on Senior Night no less, is Senior Lex Giron. Lex ran a new PR in the 200 tonight, going under 23.00 for the first time ever with a FAT time of 22.84. Congrats Lex! We are proud of you!

Great run by our 4x200 relay of Giuseffi, Van De Voorde, Giron and Costa in cold temps and high winds at the Lake Zurich Bear Invite!

Tonight we finally got the gang back together again…our 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams of Costa, Giuseffi, Giron and Sargent ran season bests in both relays and taking 1st in both at the Lockport Bill Jackson Invite. Nice job guys!

🔥 4x100 relay 🔥 of Giuseffi, Sargent, Costa and Giron run an IL #2 of 41.60! Sectional Champs and headed to the @IHSA state track meet! Congrats guys!

🚨 State Qualifier Alert 🚨 the 4x200 relay of Giuseffi, Giron, Costa and Sargent finishes 2nd and runs a season best 1:28.01 to qualify for IHSA State! Congrats guys!

Outstanding job by our guys tonight! On paper, we were seeded to score 96-100 points, but obviously you don’t run a meet on paper…Our guys came through in different ways and we scored 100 points! Proud of this group for a multitude of reasons, and they keep getting better…

Our crew is ready for a great weekend at IHSA State. Looking forward to seeing what these guys can do this weekend…should be fun!

We drive home with 6 guys who are All-State. It wasn’t the weekend we had hoped for, but all 8 of the guys that competed for us this weekend gave great effort and prepared themselves to be as successful as they could. Can’t ask for anything more! 4 of these guys return next year!
