I think #NOTA is not yet empowered by the ECI. If there's a majority of #NOTA than the above candidates from the parties who are deemed unfit, then there must be re-election after six months with fresh candidates from the parties.

NOTA unfortunately has no arithmetic value in the Indian electoral system.

ProfMKay 🇮🇳 TIGER If I understand, SC has issued a notice to the ECI based on the PIL & has not directed the ECI to mandate #NOTA but look into it as per the PIL through the notice. Now it is for the ECI to look through & bring in #ElectoralReforms so that #NOTA is empowered with due importance!
