Just listened to the most incredible episode of #LastOneOnTheTrain on RTÉ Radio 1 L E E S A and susan dennehy #LastOneOnTheTrain led such a powerful interview with a human rights focus at the core!

Just started listening to this now. It's great. Shocking but not surprising that Ireland has the worst employment rate of disabled people in the EU. The fact it has taken until 2024 for the wheelchair user to become a teacher in Ireland is, again not surprising but still wild!

Leesa Flynn talks about her experience as a wheelchair user. She is the first one to graduate from Maynooth university as a primary school teacher. Having met her, all I can say is that any school/class would be very fortunate to have her as their teacher.
