This was what I was worried about. 'Normal' grains (corn, wheat, beans) were fine today but cocoa dragged DBA down big today. Just like the equity indexes, when leadership is thin, the sector can move separately from the index.

Don't have time to look but didn't they just get downgraded last week? They aren't going to get a very good rate. Talk about bad timing!

I'm kind of surprised we're not screaming up. TNX, VIX & Dollar down. Staples down. Trannies flat though. Consolidation and digesting Friday?

Anyone else use their browser instead of the app for X and keep getting kicked off. It kicked me off my phone and computer this morning and now it just kicked me off my computer again and won't let me back in. It's getting annoying!!

The Magnificent 7 as a percentage of the S&P 500 continues to hit new all time highs.

These 7 stocks now account for 31% of the entire S&P 500 index.

Their share is larger than the Industrials, Consumer Staples, Energy, Materials, Utilities, and Real Estate sectors combined.โ€ฆ

Crap flew today. The worst the Fundamentals, the better they did. Looks like another day where the heavyweights carried the indexes while in actuality, most stocks declined.... again.

Gov't transfers shot up for the first three months of this year, which makes the growth in consumer spending even more depressing, knowing that it's just paid for by more gov't debt; the problem with living on borrowed time is that it eventually runs out...

Momentum, MAGNA and unprofitable stocks are flying showing strong risk on but transportation and equal weight ETFs are not impressed. Guess they want SPX 5100 for the weekend to passify the sheeple over the weekend.

VRT reminds me of MU around 2000. They lose more money and rack up more debt the more they sell. Sure revenue is climbing but sales will climb fast when you're selling whole dollars for 75 cents. Stock keeps climbing though. Have to love irrational exuberance. ๐Ÿ˜‚

PCE in charts. Note chained curve makes the 70s look like a walk in the park but I'm sure it's all okay. As long as AI keeps the headlines rosy....

Nothing matters anymore due to liquidity but HOLY SMOKES! Previous months PCE Chained numbers were ALL revised up. Fed's favorite metric 'PCE Ex Energy and housing' number from last month was revised from originally reported 0.1 to 0.8!!! That makes this month's number 0.3โ€ฆ
