How do we determine if a wheat field is worth keeping? Had written off our wheat last November, turned brown. Now it’s greening up. Peter Johnson what is the method, timing for this? Plants / tillers per square foot?

Nice catch of hairy vetch in the interseed mix this year. Also showing is some annual rye grass, radish and few clover. Planted shallower this year , or maybe was good moisture content early that helped out the vetch. Can still see some moisture from yesterday’s big 1/10” rain
