Last day in Specialised Med today! Cant believe its been 8 months! Challenged me so much but had the most amazing team! Now onto orthopaedics!! 💚

On Tuesday my partner Joe got admitted into hospital with covid. I can honestly say I have never been more scared. Sheffield Hospitals thank you so much for the brilliant care he recieved and to my amazing colleagues for their support this week. He is doing much better now 💗

Got a positive lateral flow test last night and a confirmed positive PCR today. Please continue to stay safe everyone x

Last day at work before Christmas! (Yes the tinsel was infection control approved 🤣) 🎄🎊

Found out yesterday I am going to be on an interviewing pannel to bring a band 2 in our team in Jan! Im so excited but really nervous, any tips for a first time interviewer? #OccupationalTherapy

Today at work has been so busy, staffing levels meant I had to see twice the patients I would normally see. I have never felt so mentally tired. But seeing the impact OT and physio can have on patients make it so worth it! 💚

It was the student in our teams last day today and she got me a card and present to say thank you for being so encouraging! I feel so touched 💗
Cannot wait until I can become an educator and have students! 💚

So glad that we could do it again, even if it was in video form! 💚

I knew I wanted to be an OT at 13. Seeing my Auntie make a cup of tea with a kettle tipper after 2 years of struggling due to chronic arthritis, she was so happy she cried. Seeing such a small intervention make such a big imapct made me #ChooseOT #OTweek2020 💚
