What a black mark on our industry, forcing student reporters to fact-check our unsubstantiated claims while they watch police raid their campus

the Columbia student reporter broadcast on WKCR right now is some of the best and most harrowing live radio reporting I've ever heard. so many people are tuning in that they're having trouble with the web livestream, but if you can listen on FM, go do that now.

The way WKCR journalists are handling copaganda (insisting on confirmation and verification before repeating tropes and rumors) versus the way CNN is not only uncritically repeating police statements but marveling at their tactics is truly something to behold.
