Year 5 were joined by Liverpool fashion designer Kirsty Doyle as we are taking part in the The KD Club mini mannequin challenge! A great afternoon of designing, creating and expressing ourselves through fashion ✍🏼✨

Our mannequins will be on display in the Williamson Art Gallery over the summer, I can’t wait to see them in the exhibition. Well done Year 5 The KD Club

We were thrilled to be able to take part in the Schools’ Olympic Torch relay yesterday. Mr Orford’s Singing Club welcomed Bedford Primary with a song and some of our Year 5 children were handed the flags to take to Springwell for the next leg of the relay.

Reflecting on emotions and linking them to colours, textures and memories today in Mindful Monday Club. So proud of the powerful conversations we had and how the children are using art to convey big feelings. Your mood palettes look great, enjoy finishing them at home! 🎨👏🏽🌈

Fortunately our Y5 & Y6 Sports Day went ahead this afternoon. Well done to everyone who took part 🙌🏻

Lander Road Primary School played St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School in a girls football match. Although we lost the game, it was a great performance from our girls. Player of the Match was Evelyn with her amazing performance in goal. Thank you to all our Y6 girls who have played football for school. ⚽️👍🏻🥅💙

Year 6 performed their Leavers Assembly to their family and friends yesterday. It was a wonderful performance celebrating their time Lander Road Primary School We wish them all the best in their new high school. 💙😊👍🏻

Our @LanderRoadY6 had a wonderful time for two days in June with Mr. Rowlands King's Leadership Academy Hawthornes. It was a great opportunity exploring all his activities.
