Frogs win 9-5!! Next game is a makeup game against Fox Lake IN Lakefield at 7:30.

We’ve got another change for the Lakefield vs Fox Lake Foxes , the game will now be played IN Truman, NOT Lakefield as previously posted. Hope to see you all there at 7:30!!

Due to weather last night, there will be ANOTHER change to the Frogs vs. Fox Lake makeup game. The game will be played IN Lakefield and resume in the top of the 5th inning with Lakefield leading 1-0. Fox Lake is the home team. Game resumes at 7:30pm! Fox Lake Foxes

Frogs rally for two runs with two outs in the top of the eighth to lead 3-0. Gabriel Wolff singled and scored on an error and Taylor Christopher scored on a Bryce Christopher single down the third-base line.

Phil Pronk gets three ground balls to Taylor Christopher in the bottom of the eighth. That’s a recipe for success and a 1-2-3 inning. Lakefield leads Fox Lake 3-0 going to the ninth.

Phil Pronk allowed just three hits and a walk in a complete-game shutout that lasted 25 hours and spanned two counties.

Frogs win 3-0!! We turn around and play in Fairmont tomorrow at 7:30pm.

The Lakefield Frogs are the No. 7 seed in the Region 10C playoffs and will play a three-game series against No. 2 Milroy Irish starting Wednesday, July 23. The top two teams from the region tournament go to state.

It’s game 2 tonight of our potential 3-game series against Milroy Irish. The concession stand will have pork loins for $6 and a pork loin meal with chips and a drink for $10!! Come on out and support your Lakefield Frogs!

After 4 complete the score is 2-1 Frogs!

After 7 complete the score is still 2-1 Frogs.

And a Gabe Wolf home run in the middle of the 8th makes it 3-1!! Going into the 9th.

And we’re going into extra innings. Milroy ties it up in the 9th, 3-3.

Sadly the Lakefield Frogs end their season tonight as Milroy wins the series in extra innings. Final score was 3-6 Milroy. Thanks everyone for coming out and supporting tonight!
