ONE WEEK TO GO! It’s nearly our time to show the Conservative Party that the Avonmouth & Lawrence Weston Ward is tired of having invisible Councillors and are ready to elect a team that they can trust!

Another great session this afternoon with our MP, Darren Jones & a group of brilliant volunteers from around ALW & Bristol.

There were lots of people who had never voted in a local before but have decided to vote Labour because they’re tired of their invisible Tory cllrs.

A lovely morning canvassing session followed by some good grub.

Not only was it overwhelmingly Labour, but there were a plenty of switch voters who have decided to vote Labour for the first time.

We had a great session today in shirehampton. Especially along Home Ground, one could say that Labour is coming home

I’d really recommend going to the annual Shirehampton Spring fair. There are always so many incredible stalls from local Bristol creators who hand make beautiful items with eco-friendly and locally sourced materials. - also the cake is really good!

With Labour, communities will be able to take back control of their buses. We will:

✅ Empower local transport authorities
✅ Support public ownership
✅ Speed up the franchising process

This could create and save up to 1,300 bus routes & allow 250 million more journeys a year.

A great canvassing session in Shirehampton today, and we had a bit of a surprise but you know what, I bet Austin Powers would vote Labour on the 2nd of May

🔴 Continue to protect funding for early years
