Working at MGH for one day! Matteo Ligorio #MGH #Boston
Special Thanks to all the Authors of the last paper from Matteo Ligorio. I hope this Review on CAFs inspires new scientific inquiries on tumor microenvironment..
Awarded for his research on the biological mechanisms of pancreatic tumor progression, Matteo Ligorio has been given the MERIT award by National Cancer Institute. Dr. Ligorio joined our UTSW Simmons Cancer Center team in 2020 and has been a leader in both cancer surgery and research. More at bit.ly/37r2FMK

In a study published in Nature Medicine and led by Matteo Ligorio & kelley newcomer, #UTSW researchers found that cancer deaths may be driven by tumor invasion into major blood vessels rather than metastasis, paving the way for life-extending interventions. bit.ly/4hf6kjx
