Update U14s at Regionals hockey. Girls 3-1 v Stowe in a really great encounter. Girls worked hard, rested chances and could have scored a few more except for an extremely talented Stowe keeper. Well done girls into the semi.

1-1 in semi v Bradfield all down to P strokes 1-1 so far.

Girls run out of steam in the final going 3-0 down in an end to end game. Plenty of chances but not on point in the final. A great effort girls really proud of the team!!

Girls 1st XI v Cranbrook school round four of the T3 EH cup come away with a 2-1 in a tight game. Nell R, and Jemima H get a goal each to settle it. Well done girls awesome cup run!! Keep it going!

Great day of hockey for the U13s today. Much improvement over the day so a huge success. Two draws, two wins and a loss leaves us 9th overall. Well done girls!!

1st XI girls hockey in and end to end encounter with Woldingham. Two goals in the end between them although WS create plenty. Final score 2-0 to LWC!!

2nd XI girls hockey v Woldingham. Girls take control of the game early being rewarded with a 1-0 score line. WS work hard to deny chances but girls get a brace second half finishing the game 3-0 winners. Well done girls!!

Chasers HC last night led by the two ‘damagers’, Starbuck and Bowers took on a very skilful Bradfield outfit. The fog posed some added problems but both teams went hard at it and finished up an amicable 4-4 in the end. All rounded off with a curry. Great evening!!

Well done to our U18 boys indoor team who played in the south regionals for the first time ever. Two losses and a draw the final tally but a much better understanding of the game and performance was the real success. Well done boys. MVP Archie O.

Girls U14 hockey v Churchers. The 14A side take-it in last minute with a short corner winning it 3-2. The 14B side pay for a poor start going in 2-0 down but coming back strong dominating the second half. Final score 2-1 down. Great fight back. Well done all!!

Wow what a great game!! LWC v Pangbourne 1stXI girls hockey in the EH T3 cup comp 5th round. PB get off to an early goal, but LWC come back strong in the second half and create chances. Final score 1-1. P strokes to decide it and PB nudge ahead to take it 4-2 on P strokes.

Boys 1stXI tour to Elizabeth College Guernsey over the weekend comes to a close. Some great hockey played by all. Two losses and a win overall. Boys knock off some cobwebs ready for the regular season.
