Day 2 and the team improved 36 shots in their score from round 1. Great effort by each of the players to finish strong.

Yes, 22 putts for 18 holes of golf. To put this in perspective, the record for fewest putts for a round on the PGA Tour is 18. Don’t forget that Colin also made 4 holes in one, in one day, at a charity event earlier this summer.

The Lancers opened up our season at Shaker Run by playing in the Lakota East Invitational. Junior Colin Bobowski led the team in scoring as the team finished in 17th place.

Lancers placed 13th out of 18 at the Oakwood Invitational held at Dayton Country Club. Colin Bobowski led the team in scoring with an 80. Freshman Eli Walpole shoots a solid 84 in his first event for the Lancers.

Lancers placed 10th at the St. X Invitational held at Maketewah CC. Colin Bobowski & Alex Meyer led the team in scoring on a very fast and firm course.

Lancers placed 10th in the Centerville Invitational at Yankee Trace Golf Club. Alex Meyer led the team in scoring. This was Landon Strohofer’s first varsity match with us.

The Lancers and their GCL brothers got together for the first quad match of the year at Western Hills CC. Trevor Greene led the team in scoring with a superb round of 78 on a very difficult layout. Lancers produced their lowest team score of the year with a 325.

The Lancers made their annual trip to Walden Ponds GC to compete in the Moeller Invitational. Trevor Greene shot his second straight round in the 70s with a solid 77 in today’s event. Colin Bobowski continued his steady play with a round of 82.

The Lancers made the trip to Heatherwoode GC for the Springboro Invitational on what is always a challenging layout. Alex Meyer led the team in scoring with a solid 81. Closely followed by Colin Bobowski with an 84.

Lancers Won their first dual match of the season against the Colerain Cardinals. Thanks to Miami View GC for hosting the event. Colin Bobowski once again led the team in scoring with a 3 over par 39. Next up for the Lancers is a trip to Hyde Park for our 2nd GCL quad.

The Lancers were privileged to play at Hyde Park Golf & Country Club in the final GCL quad of the season. The team produced their lowest team score of the year with an impressive 320 on a very difficult and challenging course. Colin Bobowski’s 76 was his lowest score of the year.

The Lancers made the trip to Glenview GC to play in the annual Hadley Invitational hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association. While the team struggled at times they still produced a 332 team score, finishing in 13th place.

The Lancers traveled to Dayton to play at the historic Miami Valley GC which hosted the last PGA Championship played as match play. This Donald Ross layout was particularly challenging due to the extreme speed and slope of the green complexes. Overall we finished in 11th place.

The Lancers are entering their last week of preparation for next Wednesday’s sectional event at Miami Whitewater. Tomorrow we play a tri match at Shaker Run with Mason and St. X. On Saturday afternoon we are at Whitewater for the Best of the West event in a preview for next week.

The Lancers travelled to Shaker Run GC for a quad match hosted by Mason Golf. The Lancers were led by Junior Colin Bobowski with a solid score of 38. Overall we continue to lower our team score in each event. Our 164 today was good for second place.

The Lancers travelled to Miami Whitewater to prepare for next week’s sectional tournament by playing in the Best of The West event. In extremely windy and firm conditions our team score of 327 was good for 6th place and best of all the schools in the Cincinnati area.

The Lancers took part in round 1 of the GCL Championship. The team persevered, as most of our players had never seen this course. They shot a solid score of 326, continuing their stellar play. Round two will be next Sunday as we close out our final league event of the year.

Today’s Sectional Tournament for the Lancers was all about teamwork. With a gritty performance, led by Senior Lucas Kalkhoff, they secured a spot in the upcoming District Championships on Oct 7th. One heart, one goal. Congratulations MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Next up the GCL tourney.
