Today is #NationalChildDay and #WorldChildrensDay. Celebrating and empowering children and youth across #Ontario is key to building a brighter future #ForEveryChild UNICEF Canada

Today is UNICEF Canada #NationalChildDay. We’re always listening to children & youth about what matters to them. #EveryRightForEveryChild includes the right to be protected from harm, online & offline. Youth have been calling on us—we must get the Online Harms Act to committee.

Extremely grateful and honoured to open up UNICEF Canada’s national advocacy summit for a fifth year in a row. We are a part of a generation that is willing to create change and that is evident with every summit I have attended and every change maker I am blessed to meet!

Mayor Kirk Cameron and the City of Whitehorse are joining UNICEF Canada and young people across the country in championing the rights of children and youth as we celebrate National Child Day 2024. This year is the 35th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Youth voices took center stage this #NationalChildDay in #Ottawa! UNICEF Canada gathered inspiring youth advocates from across the country to discuss their rights, aspirations, and the future they envision.

World Children's Day takes place each year on 20 November. The day marks the United Nations General Assembly's adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 as well as the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in 1989. Thanks to UNICEF Canada for inviting

A heartfelt thank you to Speaker of the HoC for championing #EveryRightForEveryChild and uniting youth and parliamentarians to close out #NationalChildDay. Children and young people must be part of conversations about their future!

Great news! Ontario is now the 3rd province to join the National School Food Program with the federal govt. Another step toward ensuring every child has access to a healthy meal every school day. Read UNICEF Canada’s policy brief to learn why this matters: unicef.ca/sites/default/…

Thank you for championing youth leadership and listening to young people's perspectives on pertinent issues during #NationalChildDay and beyond, MP Adam van Koeverden. #EveryRightForEveryChild
