A moment today. Mike Callaghan wasn’t just a Crown Attorney or a Judge to me but a great colleague and a true friend to me and to the 2SLGBTQ community he was a part of. Happy to be at 51 Division where he was honoured by his police family this afternoon. I miss you. 🥲

Met with members of PRIDE-Internal Support Network and Serving With Pride this morning, great to collaborate with our Ontario partners! Thanks for having us, we learned a lot and we’re looking forward to this weekend’s gala! 🏳️‍🌈

Our members were thrilled. The emotion in the room was palpable. We were inspired by the words from the Brunswick Four, the Chief, and Deputy Young. It was truly a night to remember!!!

Today we presented a check for $4000 to Friends of Ruby from part of the proceeds raised at this year’s First Responder Appreciation & Pride event. Handing over the check is committee member Sofie Lasiuk of Toronto Fire Services 🇨🇦
