The results of our 2023 Gala & Awards Night are in!! Thanks to our collaboration with Peel Regional Police and of course our generous sponsors & attendees, we have been able to donate $50,000 to Services and Housing In the Province (SHIP) in support of 2SLGBTQ+ youth. On the National Day for #TruthAndReconciliation we take time to honour Residential School Survivors and the children lost. The #OPP continues to prioritize intentional acts of reconciliation to build trust and strengthen relationships with Indigenous Peoples. #EveryChildMatters
Equip Special Constables with the tools and authorities to deal with these situations. Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of the Solicitor General we ask to take our suggestions serious. Factual based evidence shows this.
Last week, the Thunder Bay Police Association met with Michael Kerzner & Christine Hogarth at Thunder Bay Police. They had productive discussions about crucial challenges unique to our members in northern Ontario, including increasing demands on police services, recruitment & retaining officers.
Our thoughts are with the Hong family and all those impacted by this tragic and senseless loss. #HeroesInLife
