I have become very good at finding gay books at thrift stores. Picture: Less; More tales of the City; Call be buy your name. non-gay books: Fahrenheit 451; a dictionary; drawing on the right side of the brain. all for LGBT Books to Prisoners . 11 dollars.

A key to understanding prison abolition is to understand Reform vs. Abolition. Reform: changing the conditions of incarceration. Abolition: Just stop imprisoning people! Let people out.

A friend once described this reform vs. abolition in this way: They will give you a pillow for your head, but they will not take their foot off your neck.

From a correspondent: " "The Lemonade Summer" comic got passed around and everyone read it." :) This is a coming-of-age queer comic by Gabi Mendez.
