Reminder: Teachers didn't cause this global pandemic. Reminder: Every teacher wants to be back in school full-time - & every day, we get closer to that goal. Reminder: Every teacher wants & deserves a safe learning environment for their students & themselves. UFT

I appreciate the Mayor Eric Adams's enthusiasm, but he's getting ahead of himself. The new CDC guidance is very complicated & still needs State review, plus he & his team have yet to sit down w/administrators & teachers to figure out what's even doable w/space & safety protocols. UFT
