(1/6) WOW, amazing work officers! Last night, officers responded to a stolen vehicle report where the calling party said she had found her car but she could see four occupants inside the vehicle. As officers were responding, the car fled the area.

(5/6) Chief Wally Hebeish Hebeish continued - "I am extremely proud of their courage and willingness to run toward this dangerous situation in order to rescue the occupants. I believe their actions prevented the further loss of life and demonstrates their commitment to public safety."

Last night Long Beach PD (CA) officers arrested a robbery suspect (on probation and prohibited from possessing guns). The subject tossed a gun while trying to flee, but officers caught him and found the gun. They also found a few more at his home. Great work, thank you!

Last night the Long Beach PD (CA) HCF team encountered a group of subjects and noticed one of them hiding - he was found carrying this unregistered firearm. Our police officers face danger each day and they do this to keep all of us safe. Their bravery and resilience is exemplary.

Not only did ⁦Long Beach PD (CA)⁩ patrol officers locate the suspect from an earlier hit and run collision, they recovered the loaded gun he tried to discard when they stopped him. Suspect is also on probation and prohibited from carrying firearms. Great work!
