Today I stopped by the Long Beach PD (CA) Secretaries Breakfast and was able to thank these amazing employees. They work so hard to support all that we do and I am extremely grateful to have them on our team. Thank you!
Last night Long Beach PD (CA) officers arrested a robbery suspect (on probation and prohibited from possessing guns). The subject tossed a gun while trying to flee, but officers caught him and found the gun. They also found a few more at his home. Great work, thank you!

Chief Hebeish Chief Wally Hebeish had a great time connecting with our Youth Leadership Academy participants. He spoke on our core values - respect, compassion, service, integrity and accountability. He emphasized on the importance of youth taking on new leadership roles in our community.
Yesterday, we were joined by family and friends to celebrate the graduation of Long Beach PD (CA) Class 98. Also in attendance - our amazing LBPD Explorers. A truly special moment seeing past, present, and future LBPD officers together in celebration. Well done everyone! 👏
Today the Long Beach PD (CA) Exec Team took a moment to thank our Community Services Assistants for the incredible work they do to assist our patrol officers and our community. They’ve handled well over 7000 calls since their launch! Thank you to all of our CSAs. Well done!
Last night the Long Beach PD (CA) HCF team encountered a group of subjects and noticed one of them hiding - he was found carrying this unregistered firearm. Our police officers face danger each day and they do this to keep all of us safe. Their bravery and resilience is exemplary.
Not only did Long Beach PD (CA) patrol officers locate the suspect from an earlier hit and run collision, they recovered the loaded gun he tried to discard when they stopped him. Suspect is also on probation and prohibited from carrying firearms. Great work!
