#LAPD was pleased to host members of the Korean National Police. We exchanged ideas and spoke about best practices. During this presentation, we spoke about the impact of youth programs and various community programs and partnerships.

This morning I took an oath—an oath to serve the LAPD, and all Angelenos, to the best of my ability as the 58th Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Both sworn and civilian LAPD employees formed an Honor Cordon, considered one of the highest traditions of the LAPD, to pay tribute to Chief Moore as he left LAPD Headquarters for the last time as Chief of Police.

As I depart the greatest opportunity in policing, I will take the privilege of calling out my respect & admiration for my partner in providing for the safety of 4 million Angelinos - LA Fire Chief Kristin Crowley. A leader who meets every moment with courage, confidence & pose.
