A large increase in the numbers of Swallow and House Martin at Conningbrook Lakes LCP this evening, plus a few Sand Martins and Swifts hawking insects over the Kentish Stour CP and surrounding barley fields. All drawing the attention of a Sparrowhawk and then a superb Hobby Will Douglas

Superb news !!! The eggs of the Lapwing nest in the fields at Conningbrook Lakes have hatched. 4 chicks running around mother's legs. A 1st for me here. Well done to landowners for not ploughing :-) Now to avoid the predators.
