Thanks, SERB - International Travel Support ! Ph.D. Scholar Pravesh kundu won the Travel Award for presenting her work in Germany at the "International conference of the German Society for Plant Sciences" Her work deals with molecular characterization of saponin genes in quinoa !
1/2 ONLINE INTERVIEW for "Senior Project Associate (SPA)" position for the project “How does heat signaling machinery coax DNA methylation and gene expression patterns in plants – connecting the heat waves and gene waves” Fill online performa & email me: [email protected]
I would like to thank my mentor Integrative Plant AdaptOmics Lab Dr. Gaurav Zinta for his immense support and also to CSIR, India for funding me travel grant to attend a conference of German Society for Plant Sciences (DBG)
Got the opportunity to meet this legend of plant science mary williams …really humble…thanks to my supervisor Integrative Plant AdaptOmics Lab Dr. Gaurav Zinta who always told me about her…really she is just magical 🤩
It was great meeting with Bipin Pandey and #Poonam ma’am at #BT2024 DBG Universität Halle (inaktiv) very nice and humble people…very enthusiastic scientific leaders…feeling blessed to meet them🤩🤩
Today, my PhD supervisor Integrative Plant AdaptOmics Lab Dr. Gaurav Zinta delivered a talk at the EMBO-HEPACC workshop 2025 CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology. It is always a valuable experience to hear him speak, as his expertise and passion for science were clearly demonstrated throughout the presentation.
🌟 Fantastic News! 🌟 Our trainee Aparna Sreepraksh Aparna Sreeprakash, working with PhD scholar Vidhi Raturi on plant heat stress, has been selected for the prestigious Marie Curie PhD program in Europe 🇪🇺🔥 She’ll now dive into studying Heat DNA Damage Response in plants🌱 #WomenInSTEM
The first publication of my PhD journey is officially out! thanks to my supervisor Integrative Plant AdaptOmics Lab Dr. Gaurav Zinta for all the guidance. Plant-derived triterpenoid saponins act as chemical shields against biotic and abiotic stresses, while serving as gateways to powerful natural compounds.
Huge congratulations to my PhD supervisor, Dr. Gaurav Zinta Integrative Plant AdaptOmics Lab Dr. Gaurav Zinta, on his well-deserved promotion to Principal Scientist🌟 Your dedication to research and mentorship truly sets you apart. The lab (and of course the plants) are lucky to have you😅🌿 #phdlife #plantscience
It was a honor to attend and present my PhD work on Bitter and haemolytic triterpenoid saponin biosynthesis in quinoa at the New Phytologist next generation scientists symposium held at Uni of Birmingham. Thank you New Phytologist for the great experience . Integrative Plant AdaptOmics Lab Dr. Gaurav Zinta CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology
Delighted to see lab’s PhD scholar, Pravesh Kundu, present her exciting work on bitter and haemolytic triterpenoid saponin biosynthesis in quinoa at the New Phytologist Next Generation Scientists Symposium held at University of Birmingham UK New Phytologist CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology Uni of Birmingham
