Exciting start to the 5th Trisomy 21 Research International Conference Trisomy 21 Research Society in Rome with our preclinical symposium, which I had the privilege to co-chair with Dr. Randal Roper! Engaging discussions set the stage for an inspiring few days ahead. #T21RS2024 #downsyndrome
All the presidents (Past and Present) in one frame 😊 A great start of the 5th T21 RS meeting 2024 at the Sapienza University, Roma Trisomy 21 Research Society
As highlighted by Marie-Claude Potier, the president of Trisomy 21 Research Society, one of the goals of the society is to organize and compile a list of iPSC lines derived from individuals with Down syndrome that will be available to other researchers. At the gate so early (4am) - it’s actually empty. On my way to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Molecular Mechanisms of Neuronal Connectivity - I’ve been to every meeting since it started in ~1998 (minus one) and am so looking forward to hearing all the new and exciting results in the field.
What an exciting past 5 days at #cshlneurocon hanging out with Soizic Riche Yesica Mercado-Ayon, and so many more people. It is by far my favorite meeting with inspiring science, brilliant people, and every 3rd word is axon or guidance!! And always a special treat to see Samantha Butler.
What an exciting #cshlneurocon conference Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory! Also exciting to see the participation of Thomas Jefferson University students and faculty, with a huge crowd for Tim Mosca (he/him).
