Amazing work by Kristy Jo Weaver and others in the Pletcher lab showing that hunger alone (without caloric restriction) is sufficient to extend lifespan. Same effect if you optogenetic stimulate hunger-promoting neurons in the brain. Congratulations to all the authors!!
