Final SSA enrichment- Building a Toy robot! Students were asked to calculate the surface area and volume of at least 3 different types of polyhedrons! Then they created nets to build the actual robot!!

Day 1 of EOGs are done! And every one of my fifth graders got a donut today or yesterday (special surprise trip to see my friends from other schools) as a kick off to our 3 EOGs. My students have been virtual for 2.5 years and some are taking their very first EOG this week!

Well, Wake County- it has been a great 9 years. I've been at 3 schools, on 3 different schedules, taught approx. 250 kids, got married, had a baby, and taught through a pandemic, including 2.5 years fully virtual. I'm excited for next year teaching 6th math and science in Durham!
