A dangerous intersection on Maynardville Pike near Halls High School is now a lot safer for drivers and pedestrians. The folks at Knox County EPW are wrapping up a project that adds new traffic lights, crosswalks, and extended sidewalks at the busy Ledgerwood Road intersection.

I was happy to cut the ribbon at the new roundabout at Hardin Valley Road and Hickory Creek Road today. Thanks to our tremendous Engineering & Public Works department, this project was finished early and under budget!
