Thinking again about an outdoor ultra event with Ultra Mother and Father making the rounds, and every time there was a step or stairs Ken offered his arm/hand for her like the most perfect gentleman

it’s been like 4 years since I saw pictures of that event and it’s stuck with me

A lot of my favorite episodes of the classic series, and the modern ones, is when Weird Shit just happens to fall out of the sky and the characters have to figure out how to deal with it.

Tbh it’s hard to outdo how the Ultraman novel reimagined the Baltan encounter, but I’d love to see more like the Bernie storyline in Blazar, reappearing kaiju who got, like, one episode 40-50 years ago but had a great concept
