We know through multiple scandals that those affected voices can be dismissed and gaslit for decades.
Yet when scrutiny is finally applied it seems unthinkable to not be on the side of the silenced.
Systemic self-interest is very real & very powerful.

Update. After several more attempts to get back in the bathroom we found the queen barely alive crawling along the dining room carpet.

Or a queen. There is a chance this isn't the same queen and she is still trying to find a way back in.

It's been an odd day. ⛔🐝

Update: the queen is persistent and possibly has magic powers.
She managed to get back into the sealed bathroom, discovered by me with screams heard by husband's work colleagues on his zoom call. Then had her trapped in a sealed plastic box which she managed to escape from...🐝

Fun morning. Husband had to extract a wasp's nest from behind our bathroom blind today. Luckily it was still in the early stages.

House is now hermetically sealed for the next few days to prevent retribution. ⛔🐝

When I was diagnosed with Long C0vid, ME and POTS the NHS was not there for me when I needed it.

It falls to Labour to make sure the NHS is there for you when you need it.

❓Will ensure effective treatment for the 2 million with Long Cvd❓

I just listened to an episode of Pod Save The UK and they asked for listeners to write in with examples of 'heroes' - people who are making change, doing radical things, maybe aren't getting enough attention in the press. ? @TheChronicCollaboration ?

I’m getting braver at sharing my story (and feel a bit nervous sharing this one!) - for this , Daniel Moore held safe space for me to talk about the harm inflicted on me from GET, CBT, and brain-retraining.

These practices for MECFS must stop.

This is fantastic work. It’s something our charities should have done but haven’t. Well done Izzy. Really well done. Lovely to see familiar faces on there too.

Hello can anybody help me with some figures? I'm trying to find a good summary of the amount spent on research into in the UK compared with other chronic illness. A while ago I saw a handy summary but now I've lost it!
