The media is in a real bind here.

The evidence that one of the worst atrocities of our age is unfolding is now indisputable.

But if the media accurately reflected this obvious reality, then they would be forced to answer for their own complicity.

Why not invest realistically in activities that bring cohesion between different communities, ethnicities and faiths like sports, culture and arts, as opposed to investing in war, which continues a cycle of violence? I write this as I watch the London marathon - inspiring.

#OTD in 1981 Anwar Ditta was reunited with her children.

Ditta was born in the UK and moved to Pakistan where she got married and had 3 children. Her and her husband came back to the UK and left the kids. The application to bring them over was denied by the Home Office.
