I didn't realize until reading some of the fin(er) print today that Stephen Lecce is refusing to guarantee that our Kindergarten classes will continue to have an ECE assigned to each class.

This is paving the way for Kindergarten classes with 30 students and 1 adult.

when collectively talking about educators, we need to stop using the term ”teachers”. It is widely invalidating to those of us in other roles. DECEs, EAs, SNAs, CYWs exist within schools, separate from teachers. We are ALL educators.

My teaching partner and I continue to plug away at creating a class set of Exploration Kits for our K1 students to have access to at home. We can’t wait until they are ready to roll off the assembly line. Stay tuned!
