Do not expect Keir Starmer and Michel Barnier to cosy up. Barnier’s desire to prevent Brexit may suggest the Europhile Starmer will get on with him. I doubt it. Above stopping Brexit is Barnier’s desire to hurt the UK. Barnier, like Macron, is no friend of ours.
