We have a 7 hour delay getting home so far. But we each have a bag of books to get us through thanks to our library convention and getting so many books handed to us as we walked down aisles and aisles of authors and books. 😹

I run across such sweet people daily. One older lady I adore and see every Thursday told me today that I was making her hungry. She says, “Now, I just had a banana this mornin’ and I ain’t gonna lie, I’m pretty mad at that banana because it’s just a banana, ya know?”🍌 Me: 😹

My mom and I like to “mess” with this robot. Today they weren’t having it and got “aggressive”. 😹

For the 5 people I know that may have Apple Music it’s really fun seeing what songs you’ve played the last decade the most. 90% of the songs make me feel as though I’m snuggled up in a warm blanket. Not surprised Giants by BEAR HANDS is my top song music.apple.com/us/playlist/re…

Album of the Day: Murmur by R.E.M. I’ve come to find out that I’ve never truly known the lyrics to some of these songs the last 40 or so years. Seeing them, I was like, “Oh, that’s what he was saying.”

Had a good giggle at work today. A co-worker has a station for kids to create a picture of what the puppets she created did on their summer vacation. One kid shoved their creation into one of the puppets’ mouths. 😹

At a grocery store a young bagger dropped a glass jar near me, shattered everywhere glass ricocheted off my leg. I checked for blood, was fine. Saw the bagger starting to cry & apologize. Smiled and said, “It’s ok, things happen.” Grace given because so much has been given to me.

“Why were you late for work today?” Well, I got stopped for kudzu removal. (This was a legitimate new one for me. Photographic evidence attached. 😉)

I had to go see “my people” in TO. Thank you Toronto Public Library! I’m so glad that you all offer non-resident cards. You have beautiful facilities and we share many common practices, loved seeing one of your branches today. ❤️
