Our first season as our very own registered charity!! Was it easy to set up? NO!!! Was it a lot of work? YES!!! Thankfully, Meridian CU were there to help every step of the way. Problems got resolved fast. Administrative hiccups overcome. Team work makes dream work.

It is clean up time! Sure, it is the job of the National Capital Commission to maintain public lands of our nation's capital; but it never hurts to acknowledge their assistance in managing Xmas trees. They bring such winter cheer and colour to the Ktrail. (Oh...and that beautiful fragrance!) Thx

When deciding on how to give back, Caldwell Wealth Management Group of RBC Wealth love that the trail is multi-use and can be accessed by anyone including families, seniors, new Canadians. A great contribution to our community.

Putting snow fence away for the season; the natural circle of life for the trail. Hopefully it will have more snow to capture and retain next season because it is an enormous effort to put up and take down by our amazing team of volunteers. But it is most certainly worth it!

End-of-Season Interview with the famous Bear Lady, Maggie Glossop. Her work has brought such significant mental health benefits to our community, that it is beyond measure. We are all grateful. See you next season and may the bears sleep (hibernate) well in our imagination.

End-of-season get together by all the volunteer snow groomers throughout #myOttawa. We are now a large group and we are all passionate about making our city a better place to live and play in winter.
