The Garfield County Commission has tabled the vote on NextEra Energy’s floodplain permits for their proposed, and highly controversial, Skeleton Creek solar project until the commission can “figure out what the hell is going on.”

Garfield County Commissioners are considering three floodplain permits for the Skeleton Creek Solar project this morning. 20 to 30 spectators from both NextEra and the Stop Skeleton Creek crowd. Meeting was moved from the County Clerk’s office to a courtroom.

County commissioners once again opt to table the floodplain permits as they seek more information.

Road use agreement for the Breckenridge Energy Storage facility has also been tabled.
