Today I have launched a campaign and petition to save more than a dozen majestic and magnificent oak trees in Hoo! These beautiful oaks are under threat and it's up to Medway Council (who owns the trees) to protect them...

We are very disappointed that Dover District Council planning committee approved the applications for a 120-bed hotel & Seahive surf lagoon development at Betteshanger Country Park.

This is a loss for nature and the local community.

Golden-winged Warbler, found in Kent on this day in 1989, leading to one the UK’s biggest twitches. Still the only UK record.
