If a school culture doesn’t raise morale, increase productivity & effectiveness, and enhance retention of staff, then it is not a positive school culture.

As a recovering superintendent, I hope people acknowledge that our current reality is a no win situation for school leaders. To mask or not to mask, to football or not to football. These are the decisions that will define our leaders careers. Give those men & women your grace.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but stop taking off points for late assignments. It’s not helping students learn responsibility, and it’s not making your job easier. It’s only making your class inequitable. 💯

Educators, please be aware, our children are living this election through social media. Their emotions are raw and not able to deal with all of this like adults, because they are kids. SEL is so important right now!

State funding is based on seat time. When we can move that needle, we can work to create student based systems.

More and more evidence points to the need for systems to examine their approach to preparing students for college and work. CTE pathways are vitally important to our workforce.

The majority of good jobs in any zip code exist in the space beyond a HS diploma but before a 4 year degree. It's time to reimagine HS to reflect reality.

This would be a good deal for Colorado too. Great leadership in Kentucky education.
