Great question, with many applications! Especially a reflection when we get all “data” on attainment - are we capturing what matters to the c&yp, what makes a difference to them & their learning? Or what’s easy to spreadsheet & graph? And then does that drive all else?

In particular in #earlyyears the risk that “data driven” approaches squash learning & development into progression/measurement frameworks anchored in the “top end” rather than needs of young children Longitudinal data is needed, but not at cost of long term learning & wellbeing

An approach that reduces someone's experiences & being down to a singular label or concept, is not informed by trauma theory/evidence nor appropriate. '4 ACEs child' is an example of this. Is is simply replacing one inadequate label for another. It's also completely flawed.
