GDP is = G+C+I+(X-I) Government spending, consumer spending, industrial investment and eXports minus Imports. Declining imports, likely #boycotts of US products, literally helped keep Canada out of a recession.

My hypothesis re: why birth rates are declining doesn't serve anyone's "social decline" narrative. We've developed a more expansive understanding of the amount of time & support a parent owes each child & are evaluating the number of children we have time for accordingly. (1/4)
