The New York State Thruway Authority has reopened I-90 to passenger traffic westbound from exit 57 to the Pennsylvania state line. The commercial vehicle ban is still in effect from exit 46 to the Pennsylvania state line in both directions. If you're traveling: Use caution and don't crowd the plow.

There is a TRAVEL ADVISORY in the Town of Hamburg, Village of Hamburg and Village of Blasdell. Travel is especially difficult along Route 5, in Lake View and anywhere there are open fields. If you do not have to travel, please stay home.

TRAVEL BAN UPDATES in Erie County:

This morning: We're starting to see areas lift their travel bans after crews worked overnight to clear the roads. Take care as you're heading out today - there's still a lot of snow - and some really high drifts!

Per NYSDOT - Routes 219 and 400 will open at 9:30 AM and all truck restrictions for the Thruway will be lifted then. Please use caution when driving, whether it's on interstates, major arterial roads or side streets.
