Thrilled to be joining the UM Pediatric Surgery family and so grateful for this incredible opportunity!

So proud of Kristin Gee, MD who, aside from being an incredible surgeon, is one of the most lovely human beings and the best brunch partner!

Even more excited for next year now that Sophia Anne will be joining me at Michigan Surgery as their next endocrine surgery fellow! Congrats to one of the best people I know!

While everyone loved Patrick Jackson, MD’s talk on pancreatitis, Willow was the real star of our weekly education Georgetown-WHC General Surgery Residency! #pettherapy

Finally the amazing news we've been waiting for! So excited for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson and Patrick Jackson, MD !

Officially a board certified general surgeon! So thankful for Patrick Jackson, MD and everyone at Georgetown-WHC General Surgery Residency who helped me get here!

Beyond excited to say I matched at OU Children’s Ped Surg Fellowship for pediatric surgery! Thank you to all my amazing mentors, Samir Gadepalli and everyone at UM Pediatric Surgery, Kasper Wang, Rodrigo Mon, and especially @aa_chahine #pedsurgbestsurg

Amazing work by future #pedsurgbestsurg superstar Nikhil Shah, MD highlighting disparity issues in NIH grant funding in pediatric surgery #SBASUMich2023 UM Pediatric Surgery

MS2 Sharmi Amin made her debut on the national conference circuit 🌟 She showed us that 32% of neonates with free air from NEC clinically responded to peritoneal drainage ✅ & 20% with SIP did not 🚫 #ASC2024

Ecstatic to have matched Laura Bownes as our next pediatric surgery fellow! Congrats! We can’t wait for you to arrive!

Beyond excited that Laura Bownes is going to be my junior fellow! Can’t wait to be #pedsurgbestsurg fellows together!

What an extraordinary 2yrs at UM Pediatric Surgery - from caring for critically ill children 👶🏽 to honing my skill set as a clinical researcher 🤓 to learning that maize is NOT the same as yellow 😅. The friendship & mentorship have truly been unparalleled. Go blue 〽️

When I moved to Ann Arbor, I had no idea if things would work out. Now I'm leaving, a double board certified surgeon, to start my dream fellowship at OU Children’s Ped Surg Fellowship. No matter what the future holds, UM Pediatric Surgery will always be the place that helped me make my biggest dream come true!
