Today I had spaghetti for lunch, a meal I’ve been longing for for months during the famine in northern #Gaza. My spaghetti bag was ripped and I found a bullet inside. We live in a parallel universe where I’d find a bullet in my food and still think it was delicious!

i have nothing profound to add, it's all such obvious fascist distortion, so i'll simply say that as a jew, as a university worker, as a human, i will every minute of every day add my voice to the chorus that affirms that from the river to the sea, palestine will be free.

Arts West no more - this is now Mahmoud’s Hall in remembrance of Mahmoud Al Nouq, a prospective unimelb student who was murdered in Gaza. He should’ve been with us here today.

Mahmoud received a scholarship study anywhere in the world, and he chose the University of Melbourne. Devastatingly, he was killed by Israel's genocide last week. Uni Melb's Gaza solidarity encampment renames Arts West to Mahmoud’s Hall.

I joined the U Melb for Palestine rally yday & stayed till the last hearing of the day. My hot take is University of Melbourne leadership must've lost their minds. Some deets to backup my claim: ➡️ All staff in the building sent home for the day ➡️ 15 security guards to accompany each student 1/3
