That moment while enjoying the roasting of psuedohistorian Graham Hancock on The Rest Is History and then worrying that he might be the actual historian who wrote The Debateable Lands which did veer into pseudo territory. But no, that was Graham Robb and he's still respectable.

Have just discovered that what I thought was a hitherto unknown and UNREAD Georgette Heyer is just one I already own that's been retitled. What was wrong with Envious Casca, I'd like to know? Much more memorable than the limp and interchangeable A Christmas Party.

Back of my Polling Card for local elections. For 1st time, photo ID is required. Card gives many options for elderly or those with disability. None, NONE, for younger or student voters. The policy is simply biased against younger voters, designed to suppress their vote.

Oh this is brilliant. We don't go to The London Book Fair, 11-13 March 2025 any more (for several good business reasons) and we don't miss it at all. It's a noisy, expensive, overblown, crowded alien environment. Definitely not for authors and not for all publishers either.
