💙🥳 Happy 75th birthday to our NHS. How brilliant to celebrate at the Springfield Hospital new buildings opening party! I joined Dr Rosena, the Mayor and Councillors to congratulate and say thank you to the incredible staff members and volunteers.

The values of the NHS are values we all share: community, care and compassion. It was great to visit Springfield Hospital with Fleur Anderson to give my thanks to the brilliant staff who make the NHS the incredible service it is.

Mental health doesn’t sit in a silo, it crosses all aspects of society. This is why Wandsworth’s Labour Council is making sure mental health is considered across all departments. I’m proud to be part of the team leading change in Wandsworth.

Today, I read out names of the fallen and laid a wreath at St Nicholas Tooting with Rex Osborn Kate Forbes Kemi Akinola👸🏾🐝 and members of our emergency services. We paid respect to all of those who have served our country. Their sacrifices gave us the freedoms we enjoy today.
