Yesterday, we had the inaugural run of the Tenure Track Club (TTC) with some of the wonderful grads in Plant Science -- Join us every Tuesday at 4:30 pm McGill Macdonald Campus Plant Science McGill. A leisurely run around campus and the lakeshore!
In the opening, we got a beautiful speach of the president Anja Geitmann highlighting the key role of congresses on human interactions, inviting us to get to know one person per day and welcoming all the new and young generations of our society. Great talk, Anja!!👏👏 #ICSPRR2022
Amazing science, amazing atmosphere - thank you David Honys and Thomas Dresselhaus with their teams for the organization of a phenomenal conference!
Run #15 — new route, larger gang! Thanks Laura Webb for spreading the word! Missing our intrepid co-founder Luc Ouellette.
Plants move—sometimes fast! Together with David Sleboda & reza sharif we wanted to find out how Mimosa, the sensitive plant, is able to rapidly fold its leaves when touched. The motion is executed by pulvini, thickened regions at organ bases. Current Biology @McGillU 1/3
