NikA continues to surprise! Check out this paper in Metallomics from Wayne Law in the Zamble and Kanelis Lab @UofTChem showing that, although NikA binds lots of metals, it loves Ni(II)! But NikA can also change its metal selectivity upon H416 mutation. (academic.oup.com/metallomics/ad…)
